We had a good turnout for last weekend's work party. Despite all the rain we've been having recently, several members came out to the club last Saturday. There are a lot of the needed projects that were worked on and completed. Some of the projects included: Improvements to the parking lot and roads leading from the club up the hill to the pipeline. A special thank you to Chris Biesack who brought in the heavy equipment for moving and grading all the gravel. There was also improvements done to targets on the field course which included foam replacement and mulching in front of the targets. A new bridge across the creek to access Field target 15 is under construction and should be completed in the near future. Overall a lot was accomplished before the sky opened up and then lunch arrived. Thank you again for everyone that came out to give a hand!
We had our first couple night at the club this past Thursday night and it had a great turn out. Our hosts John Rymsza and Ann Wood put together an awesome evening as a way for club members to get to meet each other and share a night of food, games and of course... Archery! We had about 10 couples show up with some great food and snacks for the night and played a few rounds of dart games. John & Ann provided some cool prizes for the winners of the games and Jeff at BowDoc provide some coupons to his business for those who came. If you missed this event and would be interested in coming to one in the future let us know. Hoping there will be more in the near future. Thanks again John and Ann!

AuthorAs a kid I loved archery and rekindled that love again a few years back when I introduced the sport to my 10 year old then and later my wife. It's fun for the whole family and a great way to get kids a break from TV and into outdoors! My hope with this blog is by connecting others passionate with the sport to each other and the club. Check back again and comment. ArchivesCategories |
